Feeling brokenhearted tonight.  Life is full of mysteries, of things that don't seem fair.  I don't know how or why, but this came to me.
"Mere mortals we, ships on the vast turbulent sea; some lost in the depths or against harsh stones - yet still we sail, sail, sail for home."
Who is saying it I don't know.
But I think it's fitting somehow.
Hold your loved ones close.  Kiss your children.  Say prayers for those who have not, and thank whatever God you worship for all that you have.
It's been a while, but tonight I will do the same.
